TRACKSTAR MEDIA is a full-service video production company focused on commercial video production viral advertising.

Founded in 2010 by two old friends from film school, Trackstar’s body of work has quickly grown to over one hundred projects for a diverse and prolific client list.

We have created viral advertising campaigns for SocialShopper, Pointstreak and Waves Coffee; behind the scenes videos for Scotiabank, Nickelodeon and Playboy Magazine;

and editorial content for The Province newspaper and Hush Magazine.

• Shane Morgan     -    Creative Director // Co-Founder

  Shane is an artist and filmmaker who creates thought provoking visual work with an emphasis on story. He has directed viral ad campaigns and commercials for clients including Scotiabank, SocialShopper, and Waves Coffee. He was the Creative Director of Hush Magazine, where he featured some of the most influential entertainers in the music industry today. During his year at Hush, Shane shot 80 videos, interviewed 25 subjects and designed 2 issues. His first feature as a producer, Quantum Suicide, is set for release in 2012.

• Gerrit Van Woudenberg     -    Director of Post-Production // Co-Founder

  A prolific editor and media designer, Gerrit’s portfolio includes over 80 projects, for companies including Best Buy Canada, Earls Restaurants, and Scotiabank, as well as internationally televised music videos. His debut feature film, produced by Trackstar Media, is currently finishing post-production.
